Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is agency of Government of Himachal Pradesh entrusted with the responsibilities of prescribing courses of instructions and text books and conducting examinations for secondary school students in Himachal Pradesh. Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. Candidates who had applied for the TET 2017 can download admit card from the official website.

HP TET Exam Pattern:

HP TET 2017 for all the categories will be of 150 marks, having 150 multiple choice questions divided among four sections. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers in the paper. All the participating candidates have to score at least 60 percent marks to pass the exam.
