Sudhir Gautam Says he was pelted by stones and his “Auto-rickshaw was attacked in Dhaka”
Sudhir Gautam, a die-hard fan of the legendary cricketer and one of the most, great and well-known supporter of the Indian team has been attacked brutally by the Bangladeshi cricket fans and miscreants. Sudhir Gautam who is well termed as the person lives for cricket without any family has been was targeted by a group of Bangladeshi cricket fans after the second match of India Vs Bangladesh in Dhaka and was brutally barbarically attacked with stones, canes and abusive words against him, Indian cricket and nation.
Bangladesh Shows Ugly Side of It Attacking Indian Great Cricket Supporter Sudhir Gautam
Sudhir Gautam was attacked by Bangladesh fans in Dhaka after India’s loss in the second one-day international on Sunday, who is well known as iconic great Indian cricket and Sachin Tendulkar fan across the globe. He has devoted his whole life without any moral and emotional responsibilities of life apart from his dedication to Sachin Tendulkar and Indian cricket.
Sudhir narrated the mishap in his words as soon as the match got over, he was mobbed by Bangladesh fans outside the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium here and the auto-rickshaw he hired was pelted by stones. He further added “As soon as I left the stadium, people mobbed me and started snatching the Tricolour, breaking the handle of the flag. Two policemen who were outside the stadium came to my rescue and they escorted me to an auto-rickshaw. But the mob further attacked the auto and tried to break into it. They even hurled stones on the vehicle but luckily the auto was covered completely and I didn’t get hurt.”
Sudhir Gautam is recognized as the famous and the most visible Indian cricket fan in stadiums across the world as he has been there with Indian cricket team wherever it visits though the matter was of loss or win. Sudhir Gautam images with Sachin Tendulkar and the rest of the Indian players with the 2011 World Cup trophy are etched in the memories of every Indian cricket fan.
To watch and support Tendulkar and the Indian team Sudhir Gautam has travelled many times to Dhaka to watch although this was his eighth trip to the city he has to face the unanticipated event and smear by the Bangladeshi fans. Bangladesh cricket team created history by winning over India in an ODI series as like never before in the past after vesting team India lost the second ODI by six wickets to trail 0-2 in the three-match series. India and Bangladesh would be playing the third and the last One Day International (ODI) match on 24th June 2015 which is scheduled at the same venue.
Cricket fraternity across the globe has condemned the attack over the Indian cricket and Sachin Tendulkar’s great diehard fan claiming it as an inhuman act.
