The Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai is the Competent Authority for admission to First Year Post HSC DIploma Courses for year 2015-2016. The schedule for Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is declared. The aspiring candidates are hereby informed to refer the Information Brochure – Annexure I for detailed procedure of CAP. Detailed information is available at the Application Form receipt Centers(ARC). Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai has conducted diploma entrance exam for students of Maharashtra who completed their 10th class this year 2015. Those candidates who succeed in this exam and get good rank will be allotted seat in various polytechnic colleges of Maharashtra state.
The role of the Directorate is to maintain, enhance the standard, quality of technical education by laying the policies, establishing developing Govt. Institutions, guiding supervising the aided, private institutions, interacting with industry and national level institutions, co-ordinating with other departments of State Government, Government of India Statutory Organisations and to contribute to the development of industry society at large.
