The Naval Dockyard of Mumbai successfully conducted the written examination for the recruitment of boats crew (LASCAR -1 and Fireman) on 30th August 2015. A huge number of candidates applied and appeared for the examination at various examination centers and the results of same were also declared. Bombay Dockyard also known as Naval Dockyard is an Indian shipbuilding yard at Mumbai. The Yard was established in 1735 by the East India Company, which brought in shipwrights from their base at Surat in order to construct vessels using Malabar teak. One of their number, Lovji Nusserwanjee Wadia, was along with several generations of his descendants a key figure in the success of the Yard. It conducts recruitment examination whenever there are vacancies in various departments. This year Naval Dockyard Mumbai conducted the written exam and PET for the LASCAR -1 and Fireman posts. • Address Proof (Adhaar Card/ Ration Card/ Election Id/Electricity/ Water/Landline telephone Bill Or any other document issued by Government)
• Identity Proof (PAN Card/ Adhaar Card/ Passport)
• Category/ Caste Validity Certificate and Non-Creamy layer Certificates (for OBC candidates) as notified by GOI.
• PPO and Discharge Certificate in case of Ex-serviceman
• NOC from the Employer for Government/ Departmental candidates.
• Physically handicapped Certificate in proper performa issued by appropriate authority/ Medical Board.
• Any other educational qualification certificates
• 04 recent coloured passport size photographs of the applicant.
• Sportsperson Certificate as per GoI guidelines.
• Any other documents mentioned in application submitted online
