All the applied candidates appeared for the counselling process which was held on 11th and 12th August 2015. Now the aspirants are waiting for the merit list. Somaiya Vidyavihar was founded by Padmabhushan Karamshi Jethabhai Somaiya in 1959.. Karamshi Jethabhai Somaiya was an Indian educationist who founded educational institutes in Maharashtra state in India. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan for his service to society in 2000. The Somaiya Vidyavihar educational campus in Mumbai and several colleges in this campus are named after him. The college offers various graduate and under graduate courses.

It accepts applications from all the individuals who are interested to pursue higher studies.
