Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had issued a notification for the recruitment of 62390 posts of constable (GD) in as Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Assam Rifles (AR) and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF). A large number of candidates applied and appeared for the PST/PET test. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an government of India organisation to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India. SSC is going to conduct Constable GD Main examination on 4th October 2015. All the candidates who have qualified in the PET/PST test are searching for the main exam admit card as it contains details regarding the exam venue, duration of exam etc. the list of eligible candidates for the Western region (Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat) has already been released. The other regions will subsequently upload the lists of candidates eligible for the SSC Constable GD Main exam 2015. Examination Pattern:

The selection of candidates for SSC Constable GD will be via three stages namely the Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination. Candidtaes qualified in the PST/PET are eligible for the main examination. The final selection will be decided based on the aggregate marks a candidate obtained in Physical Test, Written test and Medical test.
