[WATCH VIDEO] Aamir Khan Reveals His Opinion On Censorship And Zaira Wasim About Her Life After ‘Dangal’

Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim starrer ‘Secret Superstar’ is all set to be released on October 18th, 2017, the movie’s cast and crew are about to launch the trailer today. In the press meet held at Mumbai, the actors revealed few details of the movie.

With Zaira Wasim and Aamir Khan in the lead roles, ‘Secret Superstar’ is written and directed by Advait Chandan, and is presented by Zee Cinemas.

Zaira Wasim shared about her experiences after being part of the critically-acclaimed and commercial blockbuster Dangal. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan talked about his upcoming flick “Thugs of Hindoostan”, he also revealed his opinions on the working strategy of Censorship.

In the meet, Aamir said that he was not completely sure about his role and he even went for the screen test, meanwhile, his wife Kiran Rao obliged him from playing the key role in the movie as it appeared to her that Aamir has to play few vulgar scenes.

Talking about his further projects, Aamir said, “We want to make films that we believe in as a production house”, to the question regarding the careers of his able competitors Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, he responded, “I don’t think stardom gets affected by 1-2 films, Shah Rukh and Salman are megastars.

Then talking about the ongoing modifications in censorship norms, he took a mere dig at the CBFC, said, “Don’t know how relevant it is today, CBFC only needed to certify films, not censor them.”

Director Advair went saying, “Can you believe? for my first film, I had to take a screen test of Aamir Khan.”

Later, when asked about her life and career after Dangal, Zaira Wasim has a witty reply, she said, “Nothing’s changed, bas mere baal chote ho Gaye hain (roughly means: nothing has changed, except that my hair is shortened).”

Aamir in his tweet included the time of the trailer release, according to it, the trailer will be out by 6:30 to 6:45 PM today evening.
