Aamir Khan And Amitabh Bachchan To Re-Shoot Few Scenes For ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ As Producer Is Unsatisfied

Post the bang on the success of Aamir Khan’s Dangal, people are now curiously waiting for the news of Aamir’s next venture. From the very decade, the actor has been making some back to back promising movies.

Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen soon on the big screen together for the first time in YRF’s ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’. And fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the movie. Currently, the star cast is in Malta for over a month to shoot for the movie. While there, a special set was created to shoot for an action sequence.

The first schedule of the film that took place in Malta has been reportedly wrapped up. However, it is said that Aditya Chopra, who saw the rushes of the film recently, isn’t satisfied with a few scenes that are shot out there. Apparently, he wants director Vijay Krishna Acharya to reshoot those sequences.

Thugs of Hindostan to reshoot few scenes

Yes, it’s true. Aamir Khan and the entire crew of the movie will have to reshoot portions of the flight scene in Mumbai. After all, the producer wants to give viewers a never seen before experience with this magnum opus, particularly after the huge Box Office success of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. However, we’re sure erecting this new set to reshoot the portion will cost a bomb to the production team.

Now, the latest buzz is that the team is working overtime to set up the same set in Yash Raj Studios to reshoot the portion. However, it is not yet known if these reports are true. Talking about the shoot in Malta, director Vijay Krishna Acharya had earlier said,

“The set of the film is in a high-security water zone, with restricted access. Both these ships have been built in the early eighteenth-century style when vessels would carry cannons and other weapons. An international crew has been hard at work creating these elaborate ships in Malta. Most of the portions filmed on board these ships involve high octane action.”

Thugs of Hindostan

Currently, Aamir Khan is suffering from Swine flu, it remains to be seen when the shoot commences. As of now we only wish for the actor’s speedy recovery.

While talking about the film, Aamir had said, “There are some hundreds of action adventure films. There is ‘Pirates of The Caribbean’, there is ‘Indiana Jones’ and many others. All these are action adventure films. So the genre of our film is action adventure but the story is different. Even my character in the film is not similar to any other character.”
