Soaked in patriotism, Indian marked the country’s 71st Independence Day with the tricolor fluttering high and the national anthem reverberating all across the country. On the occasion of India’s 71st Independence Day, a host of cricketers including Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and former greats of the game like Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag extended Independence Day greetings to the people in the country.

Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra posted their wishes on social media. Even Khiladi Akshay Kumar wished the audience in the form a video. We all know that Akshay Kumar is fit and can pull off action scenes like a pro. But he is also human.

Even he can get clumsy. Akshay thought of conveying his Independence Day wishes in a unique way. But things did not go well as planned. Akshay Kumar shared a hilarious video cycling hands-free on the streets of an undisclosed location in England.

Akshay Kumar cycle stunt goes wrong

He is seen riding the cycle along the countryside and things take a turn for the funny. Akshay wanted his fans to not try this stunt at home or anywhere. He eventually fell off the cycle and ran out of the road.

“Happy Independence Day! Today, I am in the country from which he got our Independence. And I can’t tell you enough how free and independent I am feeling just the way I feel in India. So guys, Happy Independence Day,” says Akshay Kumar.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be seen in 2.0 along with superstar Rajinikanth. The actor has now resumed shooting of Reema Kagti‘s directorial Gold. The film also marks the debut of TV actress Mouni Roy. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film is scheduled to release on August 15, 2018.
