With the bang-on success of Socio-fantasy series of Baahubali, its director SS Rajamouli has garnered an immense stardom throughout the country. Such is the galore and grandeur of the movie. What all that is bugging the fans is the details of his next. Names of actors like Prabhas, Ranveer Singh, and Rajini Kanth have triggered the nerves of the fans. There is no ambiguity anymore. The news has just hit the screens, this star director is now all set to begin the shooting of South India’s superstar Mahesh Babu. The latter is a widely acclaimed actor for his skills, looks and the way he picks movies. The news came out as the actor is seen mentioning about his project with Rajamouli which is shelved for the next year.
Following the subtext of this, Rajamouli now revealed more details of his next flick. Talking about his next project, the director said that his dear friend and popular South Indian producer Danayya will be producing his next. It is believed that the movie will be an intriguing social drama, though the rest of the details are unclear.
“I don’t know which language it is going to be in and who is going to be in the cast, yet. I have committed to Danayya and that will be my next,” Rajamouli was quoted saying so.
Next, to the project with Dhanayya, Rajamouli will be working with Mahesh Babu which will be produced by K.L. Narayana of Kshanam Kshanam fame. The project is likely to go on floors in 2019. Several of Rajamouli’s projects such as Magadheera and Eega were massive blockbusters, there are rumors that Rajamouli might be choosing of those actors with whom he worked before, Jr. NTR and Prabhas are on the guest list. Chances are that he might choose NTR most probably.
His recent magnum opus project Baahubali 2 has fetched enormous sums after becoming the first Indian movie to earn more than Rs 1000 crore. The film crossed the Rs 1500 crore mark, setting a new benchmark for Indian movies, as per sources. Some other sources claim that the movie has already hit 2000+ crore mark. Whereas, if the whole series is considered, it comes around Rs 2,375 crores of which Rs 1,725 crore from Baahubali 2 and Rs 650 crore from Baahubali.
