Deepika Padukone’s latest track from upcoming film Padmavati has got everyone grooving to it, aren’t you the one? Not just you or I but also international icons Shakira and Beyonce. Yes, it’s true, but not in reality. A social media user has made a mashup of the first song from the film Padmavati, Ghoomar, and the video of Beyonce and Shakira’s Beautiful Liar. Sounds weird?

And while people on social media reacted quite favorably to the trailer and the looks of the actors, it seems like the song ‘Ghoomar’ has taken the excitement level one notch higher. Originally, the Ghoomar track from the movie has garnered more than 42,705,800 views on YouTube where Deepika as Rani Padmavati looks ethereal.

Her outstanding dance and brilliant choreography in the song not only made the viewers sit back and take note of each detail but also set the social media into a tizzy. While the song has inspired quite a few covers, have you ever wondered what it would be like if Beyonce and Shakira danced to the beats of the song?

Well, the idea might seem too far-fetched, but a social media user turned it into reality by creating a mash-up of the songs ‘Beautiful Liar’ and ‘Ghoomar’. The edited video was posted on Facebook by a page called The Desi Stuff, the video has accumulated more than 90,000 hits since it was uploaded.

In the video, Shakira and Beyonce shake it to Ghoomar, the lavish number from the upcoming historical epic. But instead of Deepika Padukone’s classical moves, the international pop icons remind everyone why they became famous in the first place.

The post is captioned, “Sorry, :P”.
