Income Tax Raids on Tamil Actor Vijay’s House, a day Before ‘Puli’ Release

Actor Vijay “Puli”, the  much-awaited movie is going to hit theatres on Thursday i.e; October 1st, 2015. It is a bi-lingual film which releases both in Telugu and Tamil and is a high budget movie in the career of superstar Vijay. As the movie is going to release tomorrow, today (Wednesday) morning lead actor Vijay received a shock when his house was raided by Income tax officials.

According to the reports, one of the senior official said that “Yes, the raids are on. We have found out that a lot of investments in movie Puli are not explained.” Not only the house of Vijay was raided by IT officers but also the houses of the producers of Vijay’s upcoming movie Puli were raided. Superstar Vijay Puli is fantasy film and it captured all audiences ever since the first poster and trailer of the film was released.

Moreover, Income Tax officers raided Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nayantara simultaneously. According to the sources, the IT department raided 35 places in Chennai, Madurai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Hyderabad from 7am onwards on Wednesday. Raids are also going on at the homes of other producers of the movie — Shibu, Selvakumar, Madurai Anbu, financier Ramesh and other crew.

Puli the most expensive film is directed by Chimbu Deven. Hansika Motwani and Shruti Haasan also played the lead roles and music is given by Devi Sri Prasad. The movie hits big screens on 1st October 2015.
