Buffaloes has been playing a vital role in our culture and customs from the very beginning of the renaissance, people started breeding buffaloes and cows for milk, local transportation, and other purposes.

Though the cattle breeding has decreased tremendously ion the countryside, the necessity of the animals didn’t go down. Here’s the story of the incredible buffalo Yuvraj, which set records by outshining the price of many expensive cars. This buffalo possesses many interesting traits which no other ever has.

People from across the country go to Gramodaya Mela of Chitrakoot, the place between UP and MP, just to visit Yuvraj. When asked about the necessity of the cow, the proud owner of Yuvraj, Karamveer Singh, who hails from Kurukshetra (Haryana)  simply says that Yuvraj is his extended family and all the fame he has now is just because of him.

Karamveer takes extremely good care of the animal by providing a good diet. The daily diet of the 11.5ft wide and 5.8ft tall buffalo includes a whopping 20 litres milk, 10kg fruits with special emphasis on apple and turnip, and 5kg of green fodder and dry straw. Not just that, the animal is also made to cover a distance of 5km every day. Putting together every note he spends on the Yuvraj, it comes around Rs 25000, according to the sources.

Yuvraj currently weighs equal to the 20 persons of each 75 kgs put together, his calves weighs 75kg during the birth, normal ones generally weigh 50 kgs.

While speaking to the media, Karamveer mentioned that Yuvraj’s semen, one unit of which gets converted into 500 doses is very expensive and many foreigners land at his place to purchase it. He further adds that he earns more than Rs 50 lakhs annually of which he spends much on Yuvraj, to keep him healthy.

Yuvraj went viral on social media after the popular History channel’s programme ‘OMG! Yeh Mera India’ published a documentary on him, in which Karamveer quoted the price of Yuvraj as Rs 9.5 crore.
