Bollywood Queen actress Kangana Ranaut has bagged one more title to her name. Kangana is being labeled as the highest paid actress of Bollywood. There is no stopping for Kangana’s career. Recently she has delivered a solo hit with Tanu Weds Manu Returns. According to Bollywood reports Kangana Ranaut is the highest paid actress in Bollywood. She has beaten all her competitors, beautiful actress Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in terms of pay and she has proved that she is unbeatable actress. She has gained the crown of Bollywood’s highest paid actress. According to reports, the Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress got paid Rs.11 crore for her last film she just signed. The actor has flooded with film offers after her remarkable performance in the film Queen.

“It’s justified” – Says Kangana On Being Bollywood’s Highest Paid Actress

The actor says it is justified to ask for more remuneration as she deserves it. “I think the kind of films and roles I do takes a whole year… I think it is justified. At some point, we have to come to that place where we are equally paid. It is a small step… we are headed to that direction.” Kangana has openly spoke about the difference in remuneration for male and female actors in hindi films. She says “There is a huge gap between the remuneration of an actor and actress… it will take time (to reduce the gap). Male actors get into production, share profit and they don’t take money at times but are involved in some capacity which is economical and resourceful. These things suit them as they have made a place for themselves, they have command over the box office.There is no reason comparison now,” she adds.

Talking about her upcoming film Katti Batti, Kangana says, “From the promos, what people are feeling is obviously that it is a modern love story. But it’s much more than that. If you see the film, it unfolds like a thriller though it is basically a love story. Girl and boy like always are meeting and falling in love, but the difference is that this girl has suddenly disappeared, the mystery about who is she and where has she disappeared unfolds during the course of the film.”

She said those who have seen Katti Batti, love it. “Aamir Khan loved it. The aspect that people actually love about the film is the innovative manner of narrating the love story. As far as the songs are concerned, ‘Sarfira’ has already become popular and we have received good response for the film till now,” said Kangana. Other than Katti Batti, Kangana’s next project is Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan starrer Rangoon.
