Speculations about the future of Kapil Sharma’s popular TV show, The Kapil Sharma Show, has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. It has already been confirmed by the channel Sony TV that TKSS is going off the air.

It appears that India’s most popular comedian Kapil Sharma is barely having any good days recently. Right from the day he had an ugly spat with his colleague, Sunil Grover, the majority of his pals turned against him, and it is not that, many went against him, boycotting the show.

 

Firstly, the main and most of the star-cast left the show including Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra and Chandan Prabhakar. Then, the show starved for the ratings. And now, the cancellation of the show.

Later, Kapil faced severe criticism for failing to make it up to Imtiaz Ali and Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ episode and Anil Kapoor-Arjun Kapoor’s ‘Mubarakan’, the recent absence of him at Baadshaho shoot is the verge of his denial and inaccessibility.

Next, to that, the medical reasons he delivers to the respective people are quite seemingly unending. The crew, production department and who not, everybody is pawning after the ‘Firangi’ actor. According to sources, it is believed that Kapil is now busy with his new movie ‘Firangi’ and it might be the reason behind his nonattendance of many other Bollywood movie promotions.

For this Kapil Sharma faced much criticism that he is arrogant and cannot handle his success. To answer all the criticism, Kapil Sharma finally broke his silence and said,

“Yes, it is true that I am taking a break from the show for some time as I have not been keeping well. It happens with everyone, you and me, we all go through health issues. I ignored my health in the past, worked back to back, over exerted myself and that’s the reason my health has gone for a toss.”

“I can’t ignore it anymore since my film is set for release and have a tough schedule ahead. Doctors have advised me to rest and I am thankful that the channel has been very cooperative with me. I am suffering from weakness and anxiety and getting treated for it. I will be back soon in full form. I am right now in hospital,” he added.

Earlier, a spokesperson from the channel had told, “Kapil has been under the weather for some time now. Due to which, we have mutually agreed to take a short break. However once Kapil has recovered completely, we will start shooting once again. We value our relationship with Kapil and wish him a speedy recovery.”

Instead of The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil’s arch rival Krushna Abhishek’s show, The Drama Company will replace it on the channel. The hit reality dance show, Super Dancer, will replace ‘The Drama Company’ in the 8 pm slot.

On the work front, Kapil is currently busy shooting for his upcoming home production flick ‘Firangi’.
