After the huge success of Bahubali all the movie makers are coming with big budget periodic dramas, First it was Padmavat, Then Manikarnika Starring Kangana Ranaut, Ajay Devgan also announced Tanaji with whopping budget of 1000 crores, Now it’s time for Ashutosh Gowariker, The man behind blockbuster of Jodha Akbar is again coming up with another historical drama based on the war of Panipat.

Ashutosh Gowariker’s last movie Mohenjodaro was one of the biggest disasters of Bollywood, But that didn’t stop him coming up with another biggie, This time he has chosen History of Panipat as the story, We all are well aware of The Great Panipat war, One of the biggest war ever happened in Indian history.

This film is starring the veteran Sanjay Dutt, And Arjun Kapoor in main leads with Kriti Sanon playing the lady lead. The teaser poster of the movie has been released today, The full poster will be released soon, The movie is scheduled to be released on 6 Dec 2019, But we all know that these big budget movies with VFX issues get problems in release dates. It may release in late 2019 or early 2020.

There is no official update on full cast and crew of the movie, As of now Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt are the only finalized cast.  And there is no information about the budget as well, Though the movie is a periodic war drama so it’s bound to cross 100-150cr budget, Ashutosh Gowarikar’s last movie Mohenjo-Daro was made with almost 200 crores, we have to wait and see how much this will cost.
