Priyanka Chopra Bags Final Nomination In People’s Choice Awards For Quantico

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has made it to the final nomination list of People’s Choice Awards 2016 in the Favourite Actress in a New TV Series category.  PeeCee has bagged her first nomination in the prestigious People’s Choice Awards for her role in the ABC series — Quantico.

The 33-year-old actress has made it to the top five contenders and will be seen competing with big names Emma Roberts, Marcia Gay Harden, Lia Michele and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The news of Priyanka being one of 15 actresses vying for a final nomination in the category came last month. While the voting process has already begun on Facebook, Twitter and peopleschoice.com until October 22, 2015; the final five nominees unveiled in a press conference on November 3, 2015.

Delighted with joy, Chopra girl shared the news and shared a voting link with her fans on Twitter. “Wow my first nomination for #Quantico… Feel like a true debutante again. Thank u @peopleschoice http://goo.gl/xibY9Z fingers crossed.”

PeeCee, who has been receiving rave reviews for her performance in her debut American TV thriller “Quantico,” plays the lead role of a young FBI recruit Alex Parish in the crime drama series.

Apart from the actress, the show has also bagged the final nomination in the Favourite New TV Drama category. “Double whammy! #Quantico nominated too! Yay,” Priyanka posted.

The results will be declared on January 6, 2016. Priyanka has already made India proud with her work, so don’t forget to vote for Piggy Chops and make her the first Indian to win a People’s Choice Award.
