Big Boss Show: Rs 100 Crore Defamation Case To Be Failed Against Actor Kamal Hassan

Popularly known as India’s most controversial TV show Big Boss is all set to start its new episodes. This year, the officials decided to start the show in Tamil and Telugu versions and we all know that actor Kamal Hassan and Jr NTR are the hosts respectively.

Many assumptions have already topped the social media. This TV Show has already reached millions of people garnering enough attention for having the exemplary hosts.

While the Telugu version has its simple beginning, the Tamil version has already stuck in controversies. With the conversation that happened between the contestant and the host in the shown, this fiasco has started. This appeared as an offensive deed to Puthiya Tamizhagam leader K Krishnaswamy for which he threatened host Kamal Hassan on filing the defamation case of Rs 100 crore for the same.

Krishnaswamy said, “In the show, there was a conversation between two contestants. One of them called the other as ‘Cheri’ (slum dweller). It is a public platform, and millions of people are watching it. We are sure that it is definitely a prepared script. The channel cannot say it was a mistake. They are creating an imbalance in the society and hurting one particular section of the society.”

He demanded an apology from Kamal Hassan for the derogatory statements made on the show, he also said that the actor didn’t even react on the issue which is quite blunt.

“But the actor did not even condemn it or talk about this in the show despite many people raising this issue. So we demanded that he and the channel owners publicly apologize for it. We waited for two days and they have not even considered our request. So we have decided to go ahead with a 100 crore defamation case against the actor and the channel,” Krishnaswamy added.

He then declared that he is going t file the defamation case within a couple of days.

Such differences between Kamal Hassan and this Krishnaswamy didn’t happen for the first time, earlier he had reported that a complaint was filed against actor Kamal Haasan by Hindu Makkal Katchi, a nationalistic Hindu party in Tamil Nadu, for hosting Bigg Boss Tamil, as he assumed that the show is against the Tamil culture, on the whole.
