Here is Ranbir Kapoor in a new avatar, or should we say, in a Sanju Baba avatar! Even though the photo might appear to be a throwback image of Sanjay Dutt, but a closer look at it will reveal that it’s not Sanjay but Ranbir, who will be essaying the actor in his biopic.

Aamir Khan left us stunned with his jaw-dropping transformation for Dangal. Now it’s Ranbir Kapoor‘s turn. Reportedly the actor has put on 13 kilos for his Sanjay Dutt‘s biopic.

Yes, the shooting kickstarted on 14th January and from the way Ranbir has transformation left us speechless!

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film is not about guns and underworld but talks about various other unsaid and unheard portions of Sanjay’s life. The biopic majorly focusses on the father-son relationship in which Paresh Rawal will be seen playing the role of Sunil Dutt.

Recently, some of his pictures from the shooting got leaked online and we cannot believe the resemblance. With his hair grown long and outfits belonging to the Saajan actor’s time, Ranbir looks totally like young Sanju Baba in 90’s!

For the film Ranbir has put on as much as 13 kilos and is undergoing extensive training. Playing Sanjay’s US best friend is ‘Masaan’ star Vicky Kaushal. Dia Mirza will be seen stepping into Maanayata’s shoes and Sonam Kapoor will be seen playing Sanjay’s love interest. And, Anushka Sharma would be playing a journalist.

We are sure Ranbir is putting in a lot of efforts to do justice to the dashing persona of Sanjay Dutt here!
