Ranveer Singh Rushed To Hospital After Getting Injured On The Sets Of Padmavati, Check Out Pics

As we all know Bollywood Superstar Ranveer Singh known for his quirky and energetic nature, but it’s also a known fact about him that he puts in a lot of work for his each and every role.

Ranveer has currently devoted himself to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus project ‘Padmavati’. Whether today’s generation hot guy or a historical character, Ranveer plays all roles skillfully. And his utmost dedication for his new part, Mughal emperor, Alauddin Khilji in Padmavati only proves the point further.

But, here comes a sad news for the talented actor’s fans. While shooting the climax of the ‘Padmavati’, Ranveer suffered a minor accident on the sets.

Yes, we have come to know that while shooting for the climax of the of Padmavati in Mumbai yesterday (May 26), Ranveer injured himself right on the head. The injury needed immediate medical attention. However, the actor who is known to be a Mr. perfectionist continued shooting for the scene, much to everyone’s surprise.

According to a source close to Ranveer, at first, he didn’t realize that he has been injured. It is only after he started bleeding, everyone on the sets realized how grave the situation is and took him to the hospital.

Ranveer hurt himself on the head while shooting for the film during a particular take but he was so engrossed in the performance that he did not realize it till cut was called. It’s only after he started bleeding profusely from the head after the cut was called did everyone realize that he was hurt badly. Ranveer received the initial first aid on the sets and was rushed immediately to a nearby hospital for treatment. He completed the basic treatment and returned to the film’s set to complete his portions of the shoot. Rather than let his injury slow him down or impact the shoot, Ranveer completed the day’s work. He had to get the wound stitched too. Rarely do you see a star with such dedication and commitment,” said the source.

Apparently, playing Alauddin Khilji has been very demanding for Ranveer both physically and emotionally, given the role’s negative and villainous nature.

The actor was spotted walking out of the Lilavati hospital with a bandage on his head and of course his trademark swag. We are glad that the injury wasn’t deep and the shoot didn’t get stalled because of the incident. We salute the actor’s spirit!

Well, what do you think of that? The friendly actor did not forget to wave to the paps, amidst all the action.

Not only he continued shooting despite the injury, he also took off to London as this morning, leading news website spotted Ranveer at the airport.

Wearing a formal black blazer paired with I-don’t-know-what, the actor posed for the paparazzi as he reportedly left for a vacation to London. This two-week vacation was pre-planned, but after he suffered the injury, we weren’t sure if he would continue with the plan, but he did.

He plans to catch up on some of the biggest sporting events while there. He’ll be watching the Real Madrid v/s Juventus UEFA Champions League final match at the Millenium Stadium on June 3, followed by the India-Pakistan cricket match the next day in Birmingham. The self-confessed sports fanatic has often crossed continents to catch his favourite league games,” another source close to Ranveer was quoted by Mumbai Mirror.

This is not the first time Ranveer Singh got hurt on the sets. In 2015, when he was shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, he had injured himself on the sets of the film while doing an action sequence. He had fallen off a horse while shooting for a scene in Jaipur.

Fortunately, he had not suffered any fracture. He had tweeted the next day, “As for the injury, I’m fine. Mard ko Dard nahi hota….aur badi badi filmon mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain ;).”

It’s moment like these when Ranveer Singh truly shows his real energy of ignoring the pain and moving on to do what makes him truly happy. The actor is known for being extremely committed to his work.

We wish a speedy recovery for Ranveer!
