Aamir Khan`s Secret Superstar is released for this Diwali. This film is a great festive treat for Secret Superstar. Secret Superstar was doing its best in Banglore, and Mumbai and Pune is doing a bit low out of metros.

When compared to Dear Zindagi and Naam Shabana this film has fewer openings. Because of the festival on the opening day this movie received less box office collections.

Taran Adarsh tweeted on Friday. “Expectedly, Secret Superstar has started slow… Exactly like Taare Zameen Par [2007]… But word of mouth is super-strong,” he wrote.

He added: “Although biz is generally low on Diwali day, Aamir’s decision to release Secret Superstar on Diwali day itself did raise eyebrows.”

Raja Sen, writes: “Aamir Khan has a blast in this sweet and simple film about a young girl who dares to dream.”

“Aamir plays a part that is completely different and is outstanding! What tremendous comic timing! One of his best,” tweeted Karan Johar, adding “Zaira Wasim and Meher Vij are absolutely fantastic in Secret Superstar… they are pitch perfect and will move you to tears …SUPERB!”

On the first day, Secret Superstar has collected 4.75 Crore as a Trade Figure and 4.8 Crore as a Producer Figure.  On the next day of Diwali, the film has collected 8 to 10 crores.  Secret Superstar’ is basking in the glory of a good release with Rs 4.75 crore on day one, followed by an 80 percent hike on day two, with Rs 9 crore in its kitty. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 13.75 crore.

On Saturday & Sunday, It has collected Rs 8.65 crores & Rs 7.50 crore respectively, taking its four-day total of Rs 31.25 crore. The film is approaching 55 crores before the end of Week Two and from there it would be a walk towards the 60 crore mark.

The film has screened about 2840 screens worldwide in which there are 1750 screens in India and 1090 screens Overseas.
