Shah Rukh Khan’s Debut Dubsmash Tribute to Devdas [VIDEO]

Even though Shah Rukh Khan is very popular on social networking sites but the actor has stayed away from the Dubsmash fever. One of Shah Rukh Khan’s most magnificent works in his 23-year long career is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas, in which he appeared in the titular role. As the film completed its 13 years on July 12, the actor paid tribute to his own work, in a (dub)smashing .

He made his Dubsmash debut for his iconic film Devdas.The topic #13YearsOfDevdas also trended for a few hours last night.SRK too joined the celebrations and has contributed in his own waySRK decided to relive one of the most loved dialogues from the film via Dubsmash. Sharing his Dubsmash video, the actor posted on Twitter, “Saved by the candle….it’s kinda strange to do me by me….[sic]”.

King Khan further thanked the team of Devdas and tweeted, “Thx Sanjay Binod Prakashji Bela Madhuri Aish Sarojji Vaibhavi Ismail Monty & whole team & Devbabu for the masterpiece [sic]”

Devdas featured Aishwarya Rai as Paro and Madhuri Dixit as Chandramukhi. The film, which released in 2002, also starred actors Jackie Shroff, Kirron Kher and Smita Jaykar in pivotal roles.Sanjay Leela’s Devdas turned out to be the biggest blockbuster of 2002. Made on a huge budget, Devdas had some of the biggest names of Bollywood.
