Soha Ali Khan Faces Backlash On Social Media For Wearing A Saree And Not Being ‘Muslim Enough’
Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan has become the latest victim of internet trolling. Soha Ali Khan and her husband Kunal Khemu are expecting their first baby. Hence, Soha Ali Khan recently shared some adorable pictures of her from what looked like her baby shower.
Sharing a glimpse from her traditional baby shower made the viewers mock and troll her regarding her dressing. During her traditional Bengali baby shower ceremony, Soha was seen wearing a beautiful saree.
The actress posted a picture on Twitter and Instagram with her husband at home. She wrote: “It isn’t a party without balloons!”

Soha looked ethereal in a pink saree with that pregnancy glow adorning her face. Though most of her followers complemented her and congratulated her on the upcoming new phase of her life, looks like her attire didn’t go down well with some of them.

Because wearing a stunning Benarasi silk does not qualify as a Muslim outfit. People taunted her by saying she’s not a Muslim anymore. Ignoring the fact that she had shared a happy moment from her baby shower ceremony, people took digs thinking it was from the Eid celebrations.

Soha didn’t let that affect her. She went on to put out a collage of her wearing the saree and posing with her friends and family. She captioned the picture with, “The love of family and friends is reason enough to dress up! ”
People were brutal on Instagram after looking at her dolled up in the beautiful sari and bindi.
