Twinkle Khanna’s Morning Walk Went ‘Down The Toilet’, And Shot The First Scene Of Toilet-Ek Prem Katha Part-2

Actor Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar must be busy celebrating the box office success of their latest film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha but his wife, author Twinkle Khanna appears to have started the process for the film’s second part.

Twinkle is again winning the Internet with her typical tongue-in-cheek tweet, this time it’s on Akshay’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. On Saturday, Twinkle seems to have gone for a morning walk posted a picture of a man defecating beside the beach. This is where she got an idea of making part-2 of the film.

Adding a pinch of satire and dollops of humor to the pitiful glimpse, she posted it on social media with the caption: “Good morning and I guess here is the first scene of Toilet Ek Prem Katha part 2 #WhenYourWalkGoesDownTheToilet.”

If you thought, open defecation is more of a rural problem, let this sassy tweet by Mrs. Funnybones be an eye-opener. She soon received a lot of reactions on the social media after the post. People on Twitter couldn’t stop laughing and slammed the man with their own sarcasm.

While some came out to defend the person by saying “it’s hard to not answer nature’s call”, she shut them up with her straightforward tweet saying that a public toilet was merely seven or eight minutes away from the spot.

Just a week ago, Twinkle delivered her verdict on Toilet: Ek Prem Katha with a tweet that read, “So even the box office needed this Toilet eventually to break free from its constipation-#ToiletEkPremKath Hit Hit Hooray!”

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is being well-received by audiences across the board. The film has now joined the Rs 100 crore club and it doesn’t look like it’s stopping just yet. The film is based on the theme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and focusses on the importance of sanitation, especially in rural parts of India.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha – co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles, with Anupam Kher, Sudhir Pandey and Divyendu Sharma in supporting roles. It was released on 11 August – and it has got a good response.
