Twitterati Sends Its Regards To Arnab Goswami For His Statements On 2002 Gujarat Riots

Arnab Goswami, renowned as one of the best journalists India has ever got has become the scapegoat of the Internet trolls for the first time ever. This former Times Now lead and current managing director of Republic is once again on news for his rudimentary statements on 2002 Gujarat Riots.

He claimed that himself and his team were attacked by a mob near the Gujarat’s chief minister’s residence, added that this happened while he was busy covering the Gujarat riots- 2002 issue. Next, to his comments, Arnab’s former colleague at NDTV, journalist Rajdeep Sardesai has opened up about the same and said that Arnab wasn’t even in Gujarat during riots and he is simply lying.

Sardesai in his statement, wrote: “Wow! My friend Arnab claims his car attacked next to CM Res in Guj riots! Truth: he wasn’t covering Ahmedabad riots!!”

He further called Arnab a feku, “Fekugiri has its limits, but seeing this, I feel sorry for my profession.”

Other journalists like Sanjeev Singh and Nalin Mehta also disclosed that Arnab was lying about the incident. Mehta tweeted: “Amazing: because actually, this incident happened with @sardesairajdeep in Guj riots. We know cos we were there.”

Singh then added: “Astonishing revelation considering Arnab wasn’t in Gujarat when this incident took place with @sardesairajdeep.”
