The most awaited film of Dhanush VIP 2 has hit the theaters on 25th August 2017  and was running successfully if good collections at worldwide box office. This film is released as a sequel to the VIP movie released in 2014.This film has received a positive mouth talk from the critics and the audience.

The film is starred Dhanush and Kajol while the supporting roles are played by Samuthirakani and Saranya, Amala Paul and much more. The film is produced by S. Thanu under V. Creations banner. Dhanush is also the co-producer of the film. Sean Roldan has composed music for this film and BGM by Anirudh Ravichander.

On the first day, the movie has been released in over 300+ screens in Tamil Nadu alone and 1500+ screen worldwide. First day collections are recorded as Rs 4.5 crore in Tamil Nadu on its opening day. The film was released on 11th August in Tamil.

VIP 2 Box-Office Collections:

On Friday, it has collected the 90 Lakhs. On Saturday collections dropped a bit adn the film earned 69 lakhs. Overall, it has collected 1.59 crores in both Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.

In Tamil, on the day as it was a long weekend the film is expected to collect around 5 – 6 crore. In the first five days, the film has grossed about Rs 24 Crore which is good news for all the crew of this film. For the first part, Velaiyila Patadhari has collected Rs. 53 Crore.
