Airlift Collection: Akshay Kumar Starrer Ready To Enter 100 Crore Club!
Akshay Kumar’s latest movie ‘Airlift‘ is running successfully in the theaters and creating sensations in front of Box Office. The talk about the movie is positive, collections are rocking and the film is going steady. Akshay Kumar’s Airlift has been declared tax-free in Uttar Pradesh. According to the reports, ‘Airlift’ has collected a stunning Rs. 78.50 crores in just six days of release.
The film clashed with Ekta Kapoor’s adult-comedy, Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 and running successfully collecting more collections. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted a tweet of the latest figures and wrote: “Airlift is Rock Steady.”

Airlift Box Office Collections In First Six Days:
Airlift had collected Rs. 12.35 cr. on its opening day and earned Rs. 14.60 cr on the second day. The third-day collections were even higher as it grossed Rs. 17.35 cr on the final day of the opening weekend. The collections went down to Rs. 10.40 cr on the fourth day. But the film witnessed a stupendous rise in its collections of Day 5 on January 26. The collections on day five were Rs. 17.80 cr and the film is now headed to enter the Rs 100 crore club soon.
Nimrat Kaur has played opposite Akshay Kumar and was appreciated by the critics and the audience. The film is about how the Indian Government evacuated 1,70,000 Indian origin people from the Iraq-Kuwait war.
One of the critics wrote, “It is the sort of awakening that shakes loose Katyal from his (Akshay) cocooned wealthy life, which he shares with his wife Amrita (Nimrat Kaur) and young daughter, forcing him to deal with a series of dangerous situations, and leading to the evacuation of more than a lakh Indians stuck between Saddam Hussain’s brutal forces and an alarmingly slow-to-take-heed Indian state.”
