Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have set tongues wagging. Buzz is that it has not gone down well with her mother-in-law and bachchans.

Speaking at the MAMI 18th Mumbai Film Festival, comparing her time with the contemporary age, Jaya Bachchan slammed filmmakers saying film making has become a business now.

“Filmmakers at that time, created art. Today, it’s a business and all about numbers. Everything is thrown at our face,” she said.

Expressing disappointment at the explicit love scenes in films in recent times Jaya said people are not ashamed anymore, though many thought that it was a sneaky dig on Ranveer Singh’s ‘Befikre’ but sadly they forgot about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s role in Karan Johar’s controversial flick ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

Even if you have not seen the film, some shots of steamy scenes between Bachchan’s bahu Aishwarya and Ranbir Kapoor are there in ADHM’s trailer as well.

People have also been talking about the age gap between Aishwarya and Ranbir by making their vintage picture viral. Ranbir too gave some hilarious explanations regarding the difficulties he faced while doing the intimate scenes with Aish.

The veteran actress, who is also a member of Rajya Sabha said,

“People have forgotten subtlety. Open display of affection is considered smart… sharam naam ki toh cheese hee nahi hai (people are no longer ashamed). Now, it’s about big collections at the box office, Rs 100 crore films, first weekend collection…It’s all Greek to me.”

The 68-year-old actor went on to say that now-a-days there’s no difference between a protagonist and antagonist since both have the same avatar.

While Mrs Bachchan does not shy away from expressing herself; on the otherhand, Amitabh Bachchan has stated that he has not even watched the trailer of ADHM when asked about his reactions on the film, which seemed to be a subtle dig at Aish for her intimate scenes in the film.

Jaya Bachchan’s strong words as well as Big B’s cold behaviour against the present filmmaking style are perfectly expressing their discomfort for Aishwarya’s role in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Though, there have been no revelations regarding Abhishek Bachchan showing any kind of negative sign regarding Aish’s role in ADHM.
