Shah Rukh Khan is among the most admired Bollywood stars in the world, and has a huge fan base. Interestingly, the actor’s upcoming film Fan focuses on the emotional aspect of a fan’s bond with his icon. The first trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s movie ‘Fan‘ released on Monday, Feb 29 at 7 PM.

Yash Raj Studios, where the event will take place, has given SRK’s die-hard fans a great opportunity by opening the gates to them for the launch event. Anyone who has dreamed of meeting King Khan in person, will now be able to meet the ‘Badshah’ himself at the trailer launch event. It’s the first time an Aditya Chopra production will see such a grand trailer launch at his own studio in Mumbai.

As per the source, these 4,000 fans played a crucial part in unveiling the film’s first trailer. It’s a rare concept of a star playing both himself and his fan. But since it’s an ode to his fans by his fan, the trailer deserved a fan touch.

Fan is produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yashraj Films and is directed by Maneesh Sharma (Band Baaja Baaraat). The film is slated to release on 15 April 2016.

The trailer presents Shah Rukh Khan as superstar Aryan Khanna, who has chance meeting with his fan Gaurav. And their begins a relationship that leads both of them to a dark path.

Full of action scenes, it showcases Shah Rukh Khan as a mentally unstable fan who vows to make Aryan Khanna realise the importance of a fan in his life.
