Akkineni Nagarjuna’s “Soggade Chinni Nayana” (SCN) has done much better business than Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Dictator” and Sharwanand’s “Express Raja” at the worldwide box office. It has landed in the second place in the business chart with “Nannaku Prematho” in the first position.

Although Soggade Chinni Nayana was the last movie to hit the screens among the four Sankranthi releases, the film has got better talk than all other movies from the common audiences. The film collected Rs 5.5 crore gross at the AP/T box office on the first day. It fetched Rs 3.90 crore to its distributors.

“Soggade Chinni Nayana” went on strength to strength on Saturday and Sunday and is estimated to have collected Rs 13 crore gross at the AP/T box office in the first weekend. The movie has earned Rs 8.5 crore to its distributors in three days. The film has fetched the share of Rs 3.8 crore in Nizam.

“Soggade Chinni Nayana” has collected approximately Rs 20+ crore gross at the worldwide box office in its first weekend. The film is estimated to have earned Rs 14.10 crore to its distributors in three days.

In USA too, the movie is faring exceptionally well. It has set a new record by crossing the mark of $500,000 at the US box office in three days.

This is second consecutive hit for Nagarjuna after blockbuster Manam. Directed by Kalyan Krishna, Soggade Chinni Nayana is a family entertainer with Lavanya Tripathi and Ramya Krishna in lead female roles.
