Sharib & Toshi-The Crying Child’s Relatives Reacted To Virat Kohli’s Post On Their Niece
A few days ago, the video featuring a baby girl of about to 5-Year-old went viral on the Internet. A little kid is seen begging for mercy as the woman teaching the kid numerical numbers. The video shows what a trial it was for the kid to learn counting numbers.
The little kid starts counting numbers when in the middle, however, the little one forgets the sequence midway to which the woman yells at and yanks the kid. The screaming child appearing in the video is seen being dealt roughly and is tormented.
However, towards the end of the video, as the girl fails to answer a question correctly, she is slapped by the woman and cries profusely. Perhaps, this is not the correct way by a parent to document their Ward’s skills, but the kid’s unhinged temperament evokes a terrible show of child abuse.
After the video went viral, many on the social media platforms shared it. Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli is one among the people who shared the video. Virat Kohli has been one of the most opinionated people on the social media who has spoken against key issues time and again.
Virat shared the video with a hard hitting message against the use of violence and intimidation in schooling children. Virat condemned the angry tone of the woman who threatened the child instead of teaching her in a soft and understanding manner as well as the use of violence in the strong post.
“The fact that the pain and anger of the child are ignored and one’s own ego to make the child learn is so massive that compassion has totally gone out of the window. This is shocking and saddening to another dimension. A child can never learn if intimidated. This is hurtful,” the cricketer captioned the video.

While it is unclear who is taking the video, the content is bound to make you sick in your gut. From the innocent child’s frustration to her fear, the video speaks mountains on exactly why violence is never an option while teaching your child.
Now after a day of this, it is turned out that the baby is the niece of singers Sharib and Toshi Sabri. Her name is Haya and she is three years old. Referring to the entire ruckus created after the video went viral, Toshi said no one knows their children better and people should refrain from judging the family.
Talking about the player’s post on their niece, the singers said, “Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan don’t know about us. Hamare bachche ke bare mein humein pata hai naah ki hamara bacha kaisa hai! Uska nature hai waisa… Agle hi pal woh khelne chali jaati hai. Agar aap usko chod do toh woh kahengi main mazzak kar rahi thi. Uske nature ki wajah se chod denge toh woh padai bhi nahi kar paayengi.
Which roughly means: “We know about our child better. Haya’s nature is such that after being scolded, the next minute she runs off to play. But, because of her nature, if we don’t push her, she won’t study.”
Toshi then added that the kid is stubborn, said, “All the crying was for that moment so that her mother doesn’t make her study and let her play. Haya is just about 3 years old. In every house, there is are different kinds of children. Ours is a very stubborn child but is extremely dear to us.”
He then concluded, “One can’t judge a mother’s love for the child by seeing a short video. If children throw tantrums, then should we stop teaching them? It’s not easy to raise children.”
