JEE Main 2016 3rd April Exam Analysis Errors:

JEE (Main) is being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education at Centres in 129 cities in India and abroad. About 12 lakh students have appeared for Paper – 1  and Paper – 2 off-line mode.

Overall, the difficulty level for paper was moderate. Since most of the students found the examination of moderate difficulty level, they are expecting a good overall score.

A number of students found paper 1 (BE/BTech) of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains lengthy in Jaipur on Sunday, while in Patna many applicants said that the paper was easy.

As compared to last year, there was ambiguity and couple of errors in Chemistry. In few questions, the data provided was not sufficient for students to get the final answer. In Physics, there were two questions which had more than one correct answer, leaving students in a dilemma whether to leave it or attempt it.

Some tricky questions:

Few questions in Physics are tricky and challenging but compared to last year this section is shade tough. Further Q. 84 (Set F) has two answers. One or two questions in Chemistry are tricky prima-facie. Compared to last year it is difficult. Q 17 (Ser F) appears to have no matching answer in choices given. Mathematics compared to last year is shade tough with few questions lengthy.

Top 2 lakh candidates of JEE Main will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced on May 23 to fight for one of 10,000  seats in the prestigious IIT’s / ISM Dhanbad.
