The most-awaited movie of Superstar Rajnikanth’s KABALI has released on July 22, 2016. Though the movie gained a mixed review, Rajnikanth fans enjoyed the movie a lot. Rajnikanth’s performance is one of the highlights of the movie. As per the public talk, the story of the movie is not impressive and the direction is said to be lagging.

As it is Rajnikanth’s movie, people rushed to the theaters to watch the movie by booking the tickets in advance. Kabali released in more than 12,000 screens across India, as well as in the UK and Malaysia. All the theaters were filled with huge crowd especially Rajni fans. But, the collections of Kabali on the first day were not up to the expectations and are satisfactory.

Rajinikanth’s Kabali Movie First Day Box Office Collections:

Rajinikanth has portrayed as a gangster called Kabaleeswaran and it was simply superb. The movie has been released with big hype and huge expectations but the movie failed to reach the expectations of the fans as per the first-day talk.

Star Cast Radhika Apte, Dhansika have played beautiful roles as Rajnikanth’s wife and daughter and they acted really so well. Director Pa Ranjith’s direction is said as a good Attempt and dares to work with Rajnikanth. Though there are many positive points in the movie, it was said that the story of the movie was dragged and which eventually disappointed the fans.

Kabali First Day Box Office Collections:

“Kabali” has minted Rs. 21.5 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs. 6 crore (net income Rs. 4.5 crore)in Andhra Pradesh, Rs. 4.5 crore (net income Rs. 3.14 crore) in Telangana, Rs. 7.7 crore (net income Rs. 4.03 crore) in Karnataka, Rs. 3.05 crore (Rs. 2 crore) in Kerala and from the rest of India the film has grossed Rs. 7 crore (Rs. 6.2 crore) to take the total India collection to Rs. 52.8 crore with the net come of Rs. 47.2 crore.

The estimated overseas collection of the film stands at Rs. 34.7 crore to take its first day total to Rs. 87.5 crore.

However, the fans of Thalaiva are impressed with his acting as he kept his mark. The film also created box office record in the US by registering the highest viewership for an Indian film premiere.

Kabali collection from northern India comes to  Fri 5.20 cr, Sat 6.20 cr. And Sun 7.1 cr. Total: ₹ 18.5 cr. Kabali has earned Rs 90 crore abroad in the first weekend, out of which Rs 28 crore came from the US itself.

After the second weekend, total domestic collection of Kabali (Tamil, Telugu & Hindi) was recorded as 182 crores.
