Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going conduct Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) LDC DEO 2015 Tier-2 examination on 18th September 2016 according to the official notification. Earlier, it has conducted the Tier-1 examination and the results of the same were also declared. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a government organization which conducts various examinations like Combined Graduate Level (CGL), Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) etc. It conducts examinations for the recruitment of eligible candidates in various departments. SSC CHSL Tier-2 Exam Pattern:

SSC will hold the CHSL exam in three levels: Tier I, Tier II and Tier III.

Tier 1: There will be a descriptive question paper.

Tier 2: This test essay and letter/application writing skill.

Tier 3: This exam would continue to be the skill test/typing test which would be of a qualifying nature.

The final merit of the successful candidates would be calculated on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier 1 and Tier 2.

Exam pattern:

The exam will be in a pen and paper mode, i.e; the exam will be hand written and not computer based.
The descriptive paper will be of total 100 marks:

The paper would comprise writing of an essay of 200-250 words and letter/application writing of approximately 150-200 words and the duration of the paper would be for one hour. The minimum qualifying marks would be 33 percent. The performance in Tier 2 would be included for preparing merit. The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English.
