SSC Lower Division Grade Notification 2016 For Limited Departmental Competitive Exam

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released notification for the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for recruitment of vacancies in Lower Division Grade reserved for regularly appointed Group ‘C’ Staff. All the candidates of the Any permanent or regularly appointed Group ‘C’ employee will be eligible to appear for vacancies existing only in their respective Services/Cadres. Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must have passed 12th Standard examination from a recognized
Board or equivalent and must permanent or regularly appointed Group ‘C’ employee in the Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- in any of the below mentioned Services/Cadres will be eligible to appear for vacancies existing only in their respective Services/Cadres.

  • Central Secretariat Clerical Service
  • Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service
  • Central Passport Organisation in Ministry of External Affairs
  • Central Vigilance Commission Clerical Service
  •  Ministry of Railway(Railway Board) and
  • Ministry of Commerce and Industry (DGS&D)

LENGTH OF SERVICE:-

The candidates must have rendered not less than three years’ regular service as a Group-C employee with Grade Pay of Rs.1800.

Note-I:

A Group ‘C’ employee with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- who is on deputation to ex-Cadre post with the approval of the Competent authority shall be eligible to be admitted to the examination  if otherwise eligible.

Note.II:

A Group ‘C’ employee with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- who has been appointed to an Ex-Cadre post or to another service on transfer and continues to have a lien in the said Group ‘C’ post for the time being shall also be eligible
to be admitted to the examination, if otherwise eligible

Age Limit:

The Aspirant must be not more than 45 years and the age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
