The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination(TNDGE) successfully conducted Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) 10th & Higher Secondary course(HSC) 12th class supplementary examination in the month of June 2016. A huge number of candidates who had not qualified in the regualr exam appeared for the supply examination across various centers in Tamil Nadu.

TN SSLC 10th & HSC 12th Supplementary Results 2016:

Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education, established in 1910, is under the purview of the Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, India. Up to and ending at the secondary (class 10) level, the following streams of education are offered: the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) stream, the Anglo-Indian stream, the Oriental School Leaving Certificate (OSLC) stream and the Matriculation stream. And for higher secondary (classes 11 and 12) there is single unified stream leading to the award of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC).

The Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination evaluates students’ progress by conducting two board examinations-one at the end of class 10 and the other at the end of class 12. The scores from the class 12 board examinations are used by universities to determine eligibility and as a cut-off for admissions into their programmes.

Every year it conducts 10th & 12th class examinations twice. This year it has conducted the regualr exams and the candidates who had not qualified in the exam appeared for the supplementary examination. Students who had appeared can check supply results from the official website.
