Aamir Khan To Play Ranbir’s Script Doctor

There is a profound friendship between Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherji. When Ayan and Kiran assisted director Ashutosh Gowariker for Swades, and the former bonded with RK during the making of Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Aamir has always expressed his admiration for the young actor Ranbir Kapoor and has always praised his work.

A source of DNA said, “Their thinking process is similar, and their tastes in movies match. Over the past few years, they have drawn closer and often spend time with each other.” Now, we hear, Aamir has offered to play script doctor for Ranbir. “RK has picked movies that are different from the run-of-the-mill ones. Be it Barfi, which was a hit, or Bombay Velvet, which failed at the BO, and he has always been ready to take risks. Aamir appreciates that” adds the source. Our khabri states, “Aamir has even teased Ranbir that if he wants, he would be happy to read his scripts and offer suggestions.”

Later on, the source added that Aamir has agreed to play his scrip doctor and read the script and give his suggestion only if he decides to his condition, “Aamir Khan has told Ranbir that he will be his script doctor, only if the latter takes his suggestions seriously. Aamir wants him to take the right steps or else the entire exercise will be futile.”

There are no reports as if Ranbir has taken the offer however the actor has always praised the actor and the way he markets his movies. In an interview he had said he had cracked the way to sell a film, “He (Aamir) understands film marketing well. I sit with him for all my films. I ask him, ‘Aamir sir, they’re asking me to go on this reality show, should I go?’ At times, he flatly says no. He knows how much a film needs to be promoted. Each movie comes with a different plan. I have not understood that yet; so, I’m still learning from him.”

We hope that Ranbir takes the offer and we could see Amir Khan playing his scrip doctor in future.
