Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha is Released in China

In 2017, Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha is one of the highest grosser and also stole the hearts of audiences with a great storyline and social message. The film contains the social message for improvement of sanitation condition in India, and In support of the campaign started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it delivers the great message to an audience.

 

 

On this Friday, 8th June Toilet Ek Prem Katha is released in China, and this is the Reliance Entertainment’s return to Chinese market after 3 Idiots. At first, they announced that the film is going to be released in over 4,300 screens across China but according to Film Critic Taran Adarsh, it is released in over 11,500 screens across China which is around 56,000 shows every day.

 

Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Xclusiv: 11,500 screens… 56,000 shows every day [may go up to 58,000 shows]… #ToiletEkPremKatha opens in China today [8 June 2018]… Much larger release than #HindiMedium and #BajrangiBhaijaan in China…Titled #ToiletHero for the local audiences,” tweeted Adarsh.”

 

 

This makes it a massive release in China after two successful releases Hindi Medium and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. This movie has been already screened at Beijing Film Festival in April 2018 and also got a tremendously positive response. Toilet Ek Prem Katha was a great satirical comedy and also has a great social message.

 

Toilet Ek Prem Katha is fifth Indian film released in China after some releases like Secret Superstar, Baahubali 2, Dangal and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Akshay Kumar was opposite of Bhumi Pednekar in this movie which is also a great actress and also proved her acting skills in films like Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

 

There hasn’t been any cut or change in the story of the film except the name of the film. Toilet Ek Prem Katha name has been changed to Toilet Hero for a China release. This movie was a top grosser of 2017 and also made above Rs 134 crore at box office.

 

 

With a great start at box office in China, It can break records of movies like Dangal which works impressive at China cinema and also loved by Chinese audiences.
