About  Pudipeddi Jogeswara Sharma (PJ Sharma )

Born in Vizianagaram, Sharma started his career as a character artiste and starred in over 150 films, mostly in Telugu and Kannada. Some of his best films include “Athanu”, “Ram Robert Rahim”, “Collector Janaki” and “Talli Prema”.

When contacted, Mr. Sai Kumar said, “It is as if a major part of myself has been detached. My father was present in me, in every breath I took before delivering my dialogues as an actor and as a dubbing artiste. While his physical absence will be very hard to digest, I pray God to give me the strength for all of us to continue,” he said.

Following his footsteps, his sons Saikumar, Ravi Shankar and Ayappa too started careers as dubbing artistes and became popular actors later in the South Indian film industry. His grandson Aadi Pudipeddi, who debuted as a hero this year, got married in Hyderabad on Saturday, 13 December.
