Being a celebrity it’s quite common these days to receive trolls on twitter now and then. Especially when a celebrity decides to make a statement. No matter how well intentioned the message, a troll will find a way to mess with it. Bollywood actors have been the biggest victims of Twitter trolls, and Ileana D’Cruz is the latest one.

Ileana tweeted the link to an article where a girl makes public her ex’s messages of blackmailing her and threatening to leak her nudes. In a series of tweets, she received a troll from a user. But, the actress gave a befitting reply and made his mouth shut.

Ileana then revealed her own experience of being eve-teased and harassed, and called it “traumatic.” She also thanked her parents for being an amazing support system.

This is where it should have ended, but some trolls just wanted to victim-shame Ileana. One user asked her, “What makes you remember this at night?” Ileana probably did not realise that the question was born out of sleazy thoughts, and replied in a matter-of-fact way that she came across it and shared it.

But when another man asked if she was “horny,” Ileana lashed out at him for his insensitivity and gave him a tight slapping reply.

Sometimes it’s best to ignore such people. Trying to argue with them is usually a wasted effort.
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had also shared the same article which is about an anonymous girl troubled by her former boyfriend.
