Kamal Hassan statement about the film

However, according to a recent interview, Kamal Hassan said that he has to complete Sabaash Naidu before he starts Indian 2. Half of the shoot is done already, and it’s just stuck in the middle. Previously the shoot was going on a nice pace, but unfortunately, he met with an accident and wasn’t able to continue the shoot.

After which he got endorsed by T.v show Big Boss and Politics. Later on, he announced another film Indian 2 which is set to be directed with director Shankar.

With this busy schedule, speculations were made that the film would not be able to complete and the project would see the same fate.

However, based on his statement there is still hope for the project. He said, “I have to wrap up Sabaash Naidu first since about half of the film has been already shot.”

Sabaash Naidu is said to be a spin-off of his previous venture Dasavatharam. The film is meant to be a story revolving around RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) officer Balram Naidu, the much-loved character from Dasavatharam.

Now fans are having hope for the film as Dasavatharam was a much-loved film by fans. It was disappointing to know that the film may never see the light again, however, due the hope given by Kamal Hassan fans are now taking happy. It is good news knowing all the work that has been put into the film already by everyone will not go in vain. Neither the work of cast members will be wasted.

It’s yet to be seen how Kamal Hassan will manage both films back to back, completing first one in proper time limit so that Indian 2 doesn’t get delayed.

We hope that everything goes well with both movies and he completes both projects as soon as possible, as fans are getting restless.
