The film is based on real story of Sandalwood smuggler Veerappan. Killing Veerappan Story Line:

‘Killing Veerappan’ is based on real story of Veerappan, a Sandalwood smuggler who was active for years in forest lands covering the states of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The film is about finding Veerappan and killing him which led to operation Cocoon. Veerappan killed 184 civilians, 97 policemen, and 900 elephants. The film which eventually leads to the killing of Veerappan.

Killing Veerappan is a Crime-Thriller which is a real story of Sandalwood Smuggler Veerappan. The movie revolves around about finding and killing Veerappan who has been active in Forest lands killing elephants and civilians. The Police set an operation Cocoon to kill Veerappan who is most wanted for three state governments such as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. Sandeep Bharadwaj, who played as Veerappan was awesome in portraying real Veerappan. Yagna Shetty played wife of Veerappan (Muthulakshmi).

This movie received good response from the audience since it deals with the events to find out Veerappan. RGV directed this Movie very well and music composed by Ravi Shankar and Sai Karthik as well. All actors who are played the lead role and supporting role performed up to their mark.
