Priyanka Chopra is being paid Rs. 14 crores for her upcoming film Bharat which makes her one of the highest paid actors of Bollywood industry. Filmmakers of Bharat approached her for a lead role.

 

 

Bharat is an upcoming project of Salman Khan which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The movie is going to be released next year on Eid. Along with Disha Patani and Salman Khan now Priyanka Chopra is also the part of the cast of Bharat.

 

Bharat’s filmmakers approached Priyanka Chopra for a part in film, and her team asked for Rs. 14 crores which are entirely a considerable amount. She has been now offered Rs. 12 Crore for his part in the film which is equal to amount Deepika Padukone got for her role in Padmaavat. Deepika and Priyanka have always been a highest paid actors in Bollywood. Deepika also herself mentioned that he got a fee more than male actors in Padmavat.

 

Priyanka Chopra had recently did a Hollywood movie Baywatch and now is working on the 3rd season of TV Show Quantico. She will be back to India for Bharat movie shoot after completing the 3rd Season of Quantico.

 

Priyanka Chopra had already said in an interview to BBC that she always wants to be paid equal or more than boys. She does not like to get paid less than boys. In the same interview, she also mentioned that once she was offered 5% of the amount what male actor was getting.

 

Deepika Padukone also mentioned the same problem once that Male actors get paid so much higher than female lead which is not good. Deepika and Priyanka Chopra both are the highest paid actors of the Bollywood.

 

According to the reports Bharat will be based on some past historical events, and it is also a remake of Korean film ‘Ode to My Father’. Ali Abbas Zafar had also revealed that the film will also include the partition and will shoot in Punjab, Mumbai and Abu Dhabi.

 

 

Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar had already given to blockbuster movies together ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Sultan’ and this will be their hattrick if this movie will hit the box office pretty hard. The film will be going to be released in August 2019.
