Vikram Singh, a Karni Sena activist, reportedly said that the film Padmavati which will feature Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini is presenting wrong facts.

As per the protesting mob, Bhansali’s Padmavati, played by Deepika Padukone, has a few love-making scenes with Khilji sultan Allauddin Khilji (played by Ranveer Singh). The Karni Sena insists that in reality, Queen Padmavati chose death as against submission to Allauddin Khilji when he attacked her fort.

The Karni Sena says Padmini was a proud queen known for taking her own life rather than submit to Alauddin Khilji, the emperor who attacked the Chittorgarh Fort. The Rajput Karni Sena has demanded and suggested SLB to delete any such alleged love scenes between Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji in the film.

Earlier too, Karni Sena had tried to stall the release of ‘Jodha Akbar’, protesting the wrongful depiction of Akbar’s queen.
