The life of a journalist is not that easy. And Sonakshi Sinha is here to prove that to you. The actress plays the role of a journalist in her forthcoming flick ‘Noor’, which is helmed by Sunhil Sippy.

Popular comedian Kanan Gill is making his debut with this film. Shibani Dandekar and Purab Kohli will be seen in pivotal roles too. The film is based on the novel ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me!’ The trailer of Sonakshi Sinha’s next, Noor, is finally here.

“For a journalist, it is his/her duty to ask any kind of question and as an actress, it is my prerogative to answer or avoid. Even fans ask weird questions. My regard for this profession has grown much more after doing ‘Noor’ and I will try to answer every question from now on,” Sonakshi said

Sonakshi plays Noor, who thinks she is fat and is not at all happy about her life. While the novel as the name says it was set in Karachi, the setting of Noor has been changed to Mumbai.

The trailer also has a snippet of Sonakshi dancing to a revamped version of Gulaabi Aankhein, determined to shed her “seedhi savitri” image. Noor is an adaptation of the Pakistani novel Karachi, You’re Killing Me! The film is set to release on April 21.
