India’s most awaited magnum opus project Baahubali-2 was released on 28th April 2017. We all know the records set by this movie, the outstanding direction, flawless acting from the lead cast Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty, the breathtaking VFX and the mesmerizing BGM. Baahubali-2 is simply an amalgam of movie factors at its best.

Lead actors Prabhas and Rana has now become the country’s most favorite actors, placing themselves aside from the three Khans. It was surely the fruits of success that tastes the best in any way. Actress Ramya Krishna (Sivagami) and Sathya Raj (Kattappa) also played the prominent roles in the movie. Nonetheless, if we observe the movie carefully, we might notice an infant who was shown in many crucial scenes.

Be it the scene where Sivagami procures the throne for the ungrown infants (when the rulers tried to take over the throne in Baahubali-The Beginning), be it the fire blazing scene where Sivagami shows the future heir of the Maahishmati kingdom after realizing her sins  or be it the sensible way Kattappa places the child’s feet on his head, it was this little infant who is seen in every vital part of the movie.

Coming to the details of the kid, at the beginning, director Rajamouli thought to show the child through graphics, but he later came to a conclusion that, a real infant is necessary as the expressions, gestures and the movements are more important.

After deciding this, Rajamouli then started searching for the child who could fit the scene, all of sudden, there at the Athirappi falls in Kerala where the shooting was in progress. A child was born to the Production-Executive named Palsan at the ‘Kerala Anganwadi Region’. They named this baby as ‘Akshara’, who is 18 days old when came to Rajamouli’s knowledge.

Now, Rajamouli approached the parents to let the baby act in the movie, there were no objections and what happened next is all we have seen on screens. This is the story of 18-Days-Old Akshara who played an important role in the country’s most prestigious project.
