’17-Year-Old Karnataka Boy Assumed Dead’ Shocks Everyone By Waking Up At The Funeral

Waking up from the dead is something beyond imagination, that freezes people at the moment. Here is such situation when a teenager broke the tears waking up from the deathbed breathing heavily.

Yes! the incident took place in Karnataka. According to the sources, the boy is precisely 17-Year-Old was rushed to the Dharwad hospital 1 month ago, due to a dog bite.

After some routine treatment, he was sent back to home, however very soon he suffered from a heavy fever and soon he was rushed to a private hospital where his condition is critical, which finally drove him to survive in the ventilator.

After examining the condition of Kumar, doctors told his relatives that he was critical and that he would not survive if life support was removed. Informing them that infection had spread in Kumar’s body, the doctors left the family to decide if they wanted to continue treatment.

Following the doctor’s statements, his parents then decided to take him home. When asked about the situation, Kumar’s brother-in-law Sharanappa Naikar said:

“We had decided to take Kumar home after doctors told us his chances of survival were bleak once taken off the ventilator.”

Right after carrying him to the native’s house, his relatives noticed the numbness in his body and assumed him dead. They then decided to make arrangements for his funeral and headed straight to perform his last rites. Surprisingly, quickly after hitting two kilometres from the village where the funeral was to take place, Kumar opened his eyes, moving his hands and legs and started breathing fast.

Acknowledging this, people rushed him to a hospital on Gokul Road immediately.

When asked about the worsened condition of Kumar, the respective doctor Mahesh Neelakhantannavar said: “Kumar is on the ventilator. We suspect he suffers from meningoencephalitis, an infection caused due to a dog bite. “

Meanwhile, Kumar’s parents Ningappa and Manjula, daily wage labourers, said:

“Kumar stopped going to school after class IX to support us. He used to work as a construction labourer. His elder brother is physically challenged. We need support for his treatment.”
