In a terrible incident, a seven-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a speeding bike in Karimnagar district of Telangana on Sunday. The incident took place on the way to his grandparents’ place with his mother and sister for a vacation.

He became lifeless within seconds as he ran on the road only to be hit by a speeding bike. The little boy was identified as Akshay Kumar. The whole incident was caught on a security surveillance CCTV camera fixed at the Gangadhar crossing.

They alighted from an auto at Gangadhara to take a bus. Srilatha, boy’s mother was holding the two kids on her either sides waiting to cross the road when Akshay suddenly ran towards the other end.

According to the CCTV footage, the boy, along with his mother and sister was crossing the road when all of a sudden he ran towards the other end of the road. At that moment, a speeding bike hit him, and the boy was flung into the air before hitting the ground. He was dragged for about 200 feet on the highway.

Soon the passersby rushed the boy to the nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The biker, identified as Sai Krishna of Mangapet took a U-turn to come back to the spot but proceeded in another direction after seeing the crowd gathered to help the boy. The police arrested him later and remanded him to judicial custody.
