Idhu Namma Aalu, which brings together Simbu and Nayanthara once again after a long gap has been in the news ever since it was launched by director Pandiraj. After their  breakup, Simbu and Nayanthara parted their ways and did not team up for any film for more than five years.

Unfortunately, the film produced by Shimbu’s dad Rajendar that commenced in late 2013, was jinxed due to various reasons. Simbu’s film Vaalu released after three years of struggle and now the makers want to complete Idhu Namma Aalu starring STR and Nayantara in lead roles. Only a song sequence and a few important scenes will have to be canned to complete the movie, according to the sources.

But, Nayanthara has refused to allot dates for the song’s shoot. According to sources, Nayanthara demanded to be paid Rs 50 lakhs to her first as she has not been given any remuneration for the film INA so far. It is also learnt that Nayan was signed on for a whopping Rs 2 crore remuneration for the movie.

The director of the movie, Pandiraj, has stated that the actress allocated dates eight times for the song and those dates were not used. ‘They wasted her dates thrice and Nayan has other commitments to honour too’, says one of her close aides.

In this scenario, unable to find a solution, Simbu and Rajendar have approached the Nadigar Sangam to resolve the issue.  Insiders say that Nayan did not budge an inch and indicated that she would allocate extra dates only if her balance payments were made. T Rajendar assured the actress that he will settle with all un-dues soon.

Earlier, Simbu also filed a complaint on Pandiraj as he is extending the call sheets. When contacted Pandiraj, he said that due to financial issues from the makers, he was not able to complete the shoot.

Idhu Namma Aalu is an upcoming Tamil romantic comedy film written and directed by Pandiraj that stars Silambarasan and Nayantara in lead roles. Silambarasan’s family has produced the film, while his brother Kuralarasan makes his debut as a music director.
