Our beloved Indan Prime Minister, Sri Narendra Modi Ji is often applauded all around the world for his great leadership skills and vision to make India one of the strongest economies in the world. He always tries some or the other possible way to develop the nation in terms of technology, modernization and digitalization.

Right from the beginning of his rule, Modi has made many historical decisions, there are multiple milestones that must be noticed and appreciated. As the modernization of Indian Railways making the transportation facility more advanced, fast and world class for people of India.

PM Modi recently has announced first ever Bullet Trains in the country from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. Then came the news of driverless trains which are in testing mode and are all set to run in Delhi which made the people more exciting to use world class transportation first ever in India.

And now comes another big update. Big developments are finally waiting for Haryana people too as a whole new Bus system is set to be introduced. As per the reports, considering the rising pollution in the city of Gurgaon, the state government is planning to start environment-friendly electric buses soon.

Yes, higher officials like Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain, along with the members of a delegation, visited the plant of JBM Solaris Electric Vehicles Limited in Poland on Tuesday and said that they will have 75-100 electric buses running in the first phase.

Revealing more about its benefits, the minister said each electric bus would help save about 4.25 lakh litres of diesel and reduce carbon emissions by 1,150 tons in 10 years of operation.

This would help improve the environment and provide trustworthy public transport. They are also noise and pollution-free and do not require fossil fuels to run, she added.

Even more importantly this development is expected to reduce traffic congestion and also provide better public transport system to an average of 50,000 people every day.

Gurgaon Metropolitan Development Authority, Municipal Corporation, Gurgaon, and Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) would bear 50 per cent, 40 per cent and 10 per cent of the cost of the project respectively, she said.

She also said that a plant has already been established by JBM group for manufacturing CNG buses in Ballabhgarh near Faridabad. It will soon begin manufacturing electric buses under the Make in India programme.

Now that is a mighty impressive step towards development and considering that it’s starting in a crowded city like Gurugram, we can foresee the lives of many people changing.
